One-Day Knife-Making Workshop

Service Description

Enjoy the traditional techniques of forging, grinding, and heat treatment during a one-day experience using modern knife steel (blue paper steel). Each class includes one pre-manufactured handle of your choice, or you can opt for a custom-made handle for an additional fee of 10,000 yen. Due to time restraints, knives are often finished and sharpened outside of the workshop and mailed out at a later date. For international shipping, an additional 4000 yen will be charged. Please note that tamahagane steel is not used unless specified in advance, and additional costs will apply. You cannot make Japanese swords during your workshop.
